It's A Boy!!

This is our 20 week ultrasound of Baby Dyer (a.k.a. "B.D.")! He is flaunting his cute, button-nose profile in the first picture and his leg and foot in the second picture.
B.D. measured big in the ultrasound so we are bracing ourselves for a "goliath" of a baby, or just an earlier delivery than expected. At the very beginning of the ultrasound, we got to see some spectacular video of B.D. opening and closing his jaw (probably drinking amniotic fluid). Atta boy!
Nathan and I have had a lot of fun getting to know B.D. throughout the pregnancy. Right now he is very active, performing such spectacular feats as somersaults and various martial arts moves. And he is actually big enough for us to see him kicking and moving around (seen as pulsations and "waves" through my abdominal wall).
We are so excited for Baby Dyer to come and have already begun making preparations by way of accumulating baby gear and practicing being parents. Today we tried out our new stroller for the first time (I pushed it up to campus packed with Nathan's books). Boy, what a work-out going up hills with the baby will be!
Now, our dilemma . . . what are we going to name this little ninja?

Brief Update

Adrienne and I will soon begin updating our blog as soon as things calm down. Before getting too busy, we made sure to take a break in Hawaii. To the right is one of many photos we took. We having been going to school full-time, along with me working full-time, which has not allowed for much time to update pictures or details about our lives. Adrienne is excited for the fact that within 4 months we will be having another little Dyer keeping us up during the night. BD ("Baby Dyer") currently weighs about 1.5 pounds and is growing quickly. We will make sure to update you on his status near the end of the summer. Adrienne is doing excellent and enjoying her break from school and work, so that she can get things ready around the house for the baby. I am working on-campus for the College of Humanities in the labs as a Computer Assistant. I, too, enjoy what I'm doing and will hopefully have a webpage up and running within the next two months which will contain more information about Adrienne and me, an updated birthday calendar, and much more.

Last weekend we were able to see most of the family at our great grandmother's 90th birthday party and Avery's baby blessing, which took place in Salt Lake City and Chubbuck respectively. Can't wait for the next little family get together!
