Can't Get Enough of Jayden

Jayden just reached his four week mark a few days ago. Wow! Time sure does fly. He is growing fast and seems to do something new every day.

We completely forgot to carve store-bought pumpkins for Halloween this year because we were so busy taking care of our own little pumpkin.

Jayden loves daddy. And Nathan is a pro at soothing an upset Jayden.

Check out that head and neck control! Jayden has also been rolling over for the past 2 weeks (tummy to back). So fun!

Jayden Matroy Dyer

He's here at last! Baby Jayden was born on October 14th at 11:46 pm and weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs 9 oz. He has blond/light brown hair and we still cannot decide whether there is a tint of red or not (maybe mom just likes to imagine that there is:)

Okay, let's start at the very beginning. It all started on that evening when I was doing my nursing clinicals on the labor and delivery unit at the hospital. My water broke in a patient's room... So, I calmly excused myself from the room and called Nathan. "Ready to go the hospital?!" I excitedly asked him. "Are you serious?" he asked in surprise. We drove to the hospital and little Jayden was born 4 hours later.
And we never cease having wonderful moments with him...
